Lot 757 Winchester Model 37 12 GA. #NVSN

American made break action shotgun chambered for 12 Gauge 2 3/4" shells, manufactured between 1936-1963 in New Haven, CT. Model 37's were manufactured without date stamps or serial numbers, so it is hard to pin-point an exact date of manufacture. It features a 30" blued round barrel, steel bead front sight, blued receiver, 14 3/4" length-of-pull, smooth curved trigger, serrated hammer spur, checkered top lever, and extractor. The furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol grip shoulder stock, smooth forend, and red ventilated rubber Pachmayr recoil pad. Bore measures 'IM' with a drop-in gauge, and the bore is excellent and bright. The original blue metal finish retained is about 94% with light scattered scratches, and some edge wear. Wood furniture is very good with a few very minor dings, and some finish thinning on the rear bottom of the buttstock. The action is very good and locks up tight. The metal condition is good with a small amount of light scattered rust, and some rust under the forend.
Condition is NRA Good.
